Small cleanup of the Tokyo community on Saturday

Little Tokyo Sparkle / Nancy Kikuchi Volunteer Day will take place on Saturday May 12 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Join the effort to clean up Little Tokyo and continue the process of building a community by sweeping, scraping, removing graffiti and picking up trash. Bring gloves, hat and sunscreen; Be dressed properly.

Meet at JACCC Plaza, 244 S. San Pedro St., at 9 am. Areas to be cleaned include San Pedro Street, Judge John Aiso Street, Weller Court, Central Avenue, First Street, and Second Street. A light lunch will be provided afterwards.
