Residents of Ashford House Care Center enjoyed watching the Winter Olympics

Residents and staff at Ashford House Care Center in Stanwell, Surrey cheered on Team GB throughout the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The house has been adorned with flags and residents have enjoyed all the action over the past two weeks. Everyone at home loved seeing the incredible progress of the Olympians.
Sports fans at Ashford House were delighted to be able to watch this year’s winter games on the heels of all the excitement in Tokyo last year.
Residents and staff had an amazing time coming together to watch all the different sports games, from snowboarding to ski jumping, from figure skating to bobsledding, from curling to ice hockey.
Daisy Mingle, general manager of the house, said: “We loved watching the Winter Olympics, we watched just about all the different disciplines – a lot of our residents are sports fans.
“It was fantastic to be able to cheer on the whole GB team and see our talented athletes winning medals in so many diverse winter sports.”
