[Today’s K-pop] Seventeen confirms plans to tour Japan

Seventeen will be touring three cities in Japan starting November 19, Pledis Entertainment announced Thursday.

He will perform six times, in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya, until December 4. This will be the band’s first dome tour in the country.

The Japanese stage will probably be the last part of his next international tour. The first show is in Seoul on Saturday. In August, the band will begin the North American leg taking it to 12 cities including Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington. The 13-member group will also take the stage in four Asian cities afterward.

Meanwhile, Seventeen’s fourth full album, “Face the Sun”, stayed on the Billboard 200 for a second week at No. 23. The LP debuted at No. 7, a record for the group.

Stray Kids’ 2nd Japanese EP Tops Oricon Chart

Stray Kids took No. 1 on Oricon’s daily album chart with their second EP, “Circus.”

The EP was released on Wednesday and headed straight for the top of the chart. It consists of six titles: the main title, the new songs “Fairytale” and “Your Eyes” as well as the Japanese versions of “Maniac”, “Venom” and “Silent Cry”.

The group dropped the Japanese version of “Maniac” ahead of time, and it swept the charts upon its release.

In the meantime, the eight-member act is in the United States preparing for the US leg of their international tour, which begins on Tuesday. They will visit fans in eight cities until July 20, then return to Tokyo for two more concerts.

Heize Collaborates with Monsta X Instant Messenger

Heize gave fans a taste of the upcoming single “Distance” on Thursday.

The singer teamed up with IM of Monsta X, the group’s rapper and producer, and they wrote the song together. It will be one of 10 tracks from her second studio album, “Undo,” which will be fully released on June 30.

Other featured artists range from (G)I-dle’s Minnie to rapper Giriboy.

It’s been about three years since her debut LP, “She’s Fine.” Last year she signed with P Nation and released her third EP “Happen”. She has released a series of works, such as the digital single “Mother” and the drama series soundtrack “Our Blues”.

Separately, Monsta X wrapped up their US tour earlier this month.

Billlie will start a new project next month

Billlie will be releasing new music through a new project cobbled together by Mystic Story agency chief producer Yoon Jongshin in mid-July.

The seven girl group mates have completed filming a music video and are in the final stages of preparing for their official comeback, the company announced Thursday. Yoon took part in the production of the group’s song, providing a fresh perspective on its unique narrative, the company added.

It’s been five months since the rookie band released their second EP, “The Collective Soul and Unconscious: Chapter One.”

Billlie debuted in November last year with six members. Sheon, a runner-up in the “Girls Planet 999: The Girls Saga” TV competition, joined just before the release of the debut EP, “The Billage of Perception: Chapter One.”
